Augmented Reality 3D models with embedded video content
Scope:
To create the experience we started with a details CAD model for the CFM56-B jet engine. Our 3D artist optimised the model for augmented reality and up load it to the presentation AR platform. Textures, colours and animation were added.
A series of steps with highlight videos were added promoting the key benefits of the clients products.
After testing, the experience was downloaded to the client's iPads, for use without a data connection.

RSK approached Digital Energy to build a 3D augmented reality experience for their client, Shell Aviation.
The client produces lubricants for aviation jet engines and wanted a visualisation tool to explain the benefits of their products at exhibitions.
Shell already had a 3D printed model of a specific jet engine that it wanted to overlay the experience on at exhibitions.
